Aaj Ka Nayak (2019) is the Hindi-dubbed version of the 1999 Tamil political action film “Mudhalvan,” directed by S. Shankar. The story centers on N. Pugazhendi, a Chennai-based television reporter who, during a live interview, challenges the state’s Chief Minister, Aranganathar, on his governance. In response, Aranganathar dares Pugazhendi to assume the Chief Minister’s role for a day, a challenge he accepts.

However, his actions unsettle the political establishment, leading Aranganathar to retaliate.
