The 5th Wave (2016) is a sci-fi thriller based on Rick Yancey’s novel. The film follows Cassie Sullivan (Chloë Grace Moretz), a teenager struggling to survive after Earth is attacked by extraterrestrials known as “The Others.” The invasion unfolds in devastating “waves”: an electromagnetic pulse, natural disasters, a deadly virus, and human infiltration. Separated from her younger brother, Cassie embarks on a perilous journey to rescue him, encountering a mysterious young man, Evan Walker (Alex Roe), who may not be entirely human.
