Summary:

Tubelight (2017) is an Indian war drama directed by Kabir Khan, starring Salman Khan in the lead role. Set against the backdrop of the 1962 Sino-Indian War, the film follows the journey of Laxman Singh Bisht, a simple-minded and kind-hearted man who is deeply attached to his younger brother, Bharat (Sohail Khan). When Bharat is drafted into the Indian Army and sent to war, Laxman struggles to cope with his absence. Encouraged by his belief in faith and love, he embarks on a journey to bring his brother back, despite being ridiculed by those around him.

Along the way, he befriends a young Chinese boy, Guo (Matin Rey Tangu), and his mother, Liling (Zhu Zhu), who help him understand acceptance and humanity beyond borders.
