“Sulthan” (2021) is a Tamil-language action drama directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan. The film follows Vikram, nicknamed Sulthan (Karthi), who is raised by a group of 100 criminals after his mother’s death during childbirth. Despite their criminal background, these men shower Sulthan with love, and he grows up viewing them as family. After pursuing a career in robotics engineering abroad, Sulthan returns home to find his father deceased and his ‘brothers’ entangled in violent conflicts.
